Sobiesław Zasada "handed over the wheel" to his grandson. A significant moment in the life of the Polish rally driver and businessman.

Sobiesław Zasada shared information regarding the Zasada Group he manages. Daniel Chwist, the eldest grandson of the famous driver, has been appointed the new CEO. "This is a conscious transfer of ideas," the statement reads.

The Zasada Group is one of the oldest capital groups in Poland. According to its website, it comprises over 30 companies operating in the automotive , development, manufacturing, and lifestyle sectors. They focus on manufacturing , trade , and services , among other areas.

For years, the group has been managed by the renowned driver and entrepreneur,Sobiesław Zasada . According to a company statement, the 95-year-old has decided to step down. Who will take his place? His grandson, Daniel Chwist .

"It is with pride and full confidence that I hand over the leadership of the Zasada Group to my eldest grandson. This succession is not just a personnel change, but a conscious transfer of the ideas on which I have built the Group for decades. This is a strong foundation for a new stage of development," Sobiesław Zasada's statement reads.

Of course, his successor didn't land in his current position by accident. Daniel Chwist has many years of experience as a manager in the automotive sector.

As we read in the press release, Since 2015, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Zasada Group and was responsible for, among other things, investments and development projects .

" The Zasada Group is more than just a company for me. It's a responsibility to the people, the team, and the legacy my grandfather created. I want to develop a strong, modern organization with respect for what has been built and an openness to the challenges of the future," writes Daniel Chwist .

It's also worth mentioning that, like his grandfather, Daniel Chwist is a rally driver. As we read in a press release from Zasada Group , its new management is to continue its current course of action.

Despite his age, Sobiesław Zasada still maintains great form and surprises younger people – including me – with his achievements.

Let us recall that last year the famous rally driver drove from Krakow to Monte Cassino , and he managed to do it in… "Maluch" .

What's the secret of this 95-year-old driver and entrepreneur? It turns out it's constant physical activity , especially walking . Every day, regardless of the weather, the automotive legend covers at least 5 kilometers.

"For me, walking is not an obligation, but a daily ritual that gives me strength , peace , and clarity of thought . Even at the age of 95," writes Sobiesław Zasada .
